Making reference to a group object and using it on a subform (1 Viewer)

I am making a report that has it's results filtered using groups. I was trying to use the value from the textbox on the group's header to filter a subreport that is attached on the group's footer. The script was wrote on the Onload event of the subreport, and worked on the report's view, but when I load the printing preview it shows error 2101.
I tried writing the filter on the onload event of the main report, but it does not find the groups's header textbox, and also shows an error, 2455 this time.

Any idea how to achieve this? It would be really useful to my desing being able to filter this unrelated report by the value of this textbox.

Create a Master/Child Link Fields on the SubReport.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the subreport is based on a crosstab query.
arnelgp, when I linked master/child fileds it showed me this error "You can't use a pass through query or a non-fixed column"

Edit: Just sorted it out, I needed to add the columns names on the query, didn't knew that one. THANKS ARNE!
