Hi there,
I'm Alan and I live and work in Blantyre, Malawi.
After a career doing banking, accounting, then software development in Clipper/dBase I spent 10 years running an Asset Finance company. (Who says that all that time spent doing system specs is wasted)
I'm now back to programming again using VBA with Excel and now Access. (steep learning curve)
Hobbies: Making and flying kites, sailing bonsai and animal rescue.
We've rescued monkeys, crows, owls, duiker (small antelope) genets etc.
Reward is to see wild animals roaming our grounds until they're ready to be released into the wild again.
Without sites such as this I feel really isolated and "lonely"
