Simple question but I am getting some interesting answers from MS so what are you guys saying?

What is the maximum number of entries one can have in a single table?

I don't think the number of entries can be specified because Access dosn't appear to limit this. However the maximum table size is 1Gb for Access 2000, With alimit of 2000 characters per record. This does not include graphics or memo fields.

I don't know about other versions.

By entries do you mean Columns or Rows ?.

Actually suspect that limit is some combination. I have had a single table with 5.25 Million records across about 7 columns. (Text and Integer)

Overall size was only about 200M so really depends on your application.

So limit is more Application rather than a table
