Memo Field editing (1 Viewer)

I read on a different site how to "program" a text field so that when its entered the existing text isn't highlighted, but instead the cursor is placed at the end of the text to add to it.

Is there a way to do the same thing in a memo field? So that it can just be added to when entered?

In Access 2000 you can set the default cursor behavior under Tools/Options/Keyboard/Behavior entering field. Just click on "Go to end of field".

If you don't want the cursor to jump to the end of all fields, select the particular field you want and in the "On Got Focus" property insert the following: SendKeys "{F2}". Be sure to include both the quotes and the curly brackets.
