Memo field from a table printing with only 255 characters

I have report from a query which takes data from a memo field. The query shows full data as contained in each record, but the report prints only up to 255 characters and rest all characters are truncated in the record printout. The 'can grow' property for the text box and detail section of the report are set to 'yes'.
Can anybody help me?
