Module for Design (1 Viewer)

Looking to make a Module of even a Macro that will open said Table, open Design, restrict a field from 4 characters down to 1 close then go in again and go from 1 to a said value. I have a field that I get from MIS that I only need the first character so that I can change the number to a said constant value. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
