More than one record per line in subreport

Hi
Can anyone advise me how to show more than one record per line in a subreport, please? I have very limited space in my subreport and rather than show:
Record 1
Record 2
etc

I would like to show:
Record 1, Record 2, Record 3 etc
Preferably with the record wrapping onto the next line at the end of each line.

Is there a way of doing this?
Any help gratefully received.

How about snaking columns.
Click on Page Set Up to set the number of columns.

Thanks. I have columns in my main report but didn't think to put them in my sub report as well. Brain is not working well today!
