I am using Access 2019. It seemed to be working OK, but now I have two odd things happening in queries:

1. Where I have two tables in the query and there is a link between the two tables, I used to be able to pop up a little command window which said
Use all records from table A and joined records from table B', etc. I no longer get that pop up. How do I select the join type?

2. When an individual cell in the query has a long command in one of the fields, I used to be able to click on the right edge of the cell and drag the cell wall to make it bigger. I no longer have that option. When I click on the cell wall I do not get the 'expand' symbol.

Double-click on the middle of the join line to bring up the dialog. I don't know about the other problem

On the long command line, double-click the right-hand line in the cell you want to expand.
