Hi, I’m after a bit of help…

Last week I changed my old PC running win98 for a new one which came with win Xp.

I have transferred all my stuff over but now have these two problems:

1)

After downloading adobe reader 6 it won’t run and gives the following:

“MS windows journal viewer…… the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that isn’t available”

I haven’t a clue what any of that means!



2) My other problem is with Access in Office 97pro – I re-installed it because I wanted to keep on using it.

Basically when I try to run a report I get the following:

‘(((FORM1.LAST_SRVC)>DATE()-30)AND((FORM2.DATE)>DATE()-30)AND ((FORM2.REASON)LIKE “9”))’

There are several queries/reports, which worked on the old machine and wont work now. I have checked the regional settings and clock which seem OK to me.

Anyone any ideas?

As far as the Access problem you have a missing/broken reference, search the archives here for solutions

Not to add anything but...

You shouldnt use a reserved word like Date as a controle name...

Also: Form2.Reason like "9" ?! No wild cards?! If you are looking for just the 9, use = not like...
