Hi zzteam

Don't want to spoil your thread here but thought this may be of some interest.

I was looking for something similar to what you have done although I wanted a db that I could share over the internet with my brother (as we both share movies)

anyway...I found a great dvd collection website that's similar to your db, although in this one anyone can share your info, & it also downloads movie information from the web

if interested you can find it here.....:)

I think it's a really cool database design zzteam. In fact, I just PMed you... I think creating an advanced search feature would be the icing on the cake though (allowing to search/filter movies by multiple genres, actors, etc).

I love the look of the database - would have been nice to see what's going on in the background though. For those of us who are still learning the ropes, seeing the actual structure, coding etc is very useful.

Hold down the shift key then double click on the db to open it. That should load the container for you so you can see the forms, tables etc. ;)
