Hi, again. In some of my charts (made in ACCESS 2003 in my notebook with Windows Vista Home Basic) I have lines, one horizontal and one vertical that were added by drawing (they don´t belong to the graph itself). So they have to be moved around according to the set of data that feeds the form. I found that this can be made fine in Design View, but no so in Form View, though I allow changes in design in all views. Since I want to make my forms available to other people in mde files, the other people won´t be able to open the Design View, and so they won´t be able to move the lines around. Is there any way to work this out? Thanks a lot

Juan Carlos.

Which data do you want to set the horizontal line and which data do you want to set the vertical line?

You can move lines using their Left and Top property.

Chris.

Hi, there Chris
Thanks again for your quick answer. While I was writing the post I figured out that the problems with the lines with the line arouse because they didn´t belong to the graph. So I included in the graph creating 2 "dummy" sets of data with line drawing between the points. If you still want to see the graph (is the same that you already know) I can attach it, but I guess that my problem is solved. But I think that I solved it just because putting it into words helped me recognize the root of the subject. So thank you anyway: is very nice to know that someone so skillful is there to help us out.

G’day Juan Carlos.

Good to know you fixed it yourself, best solution of all. :)

Chris.
