Hello,
I have been experimenting with Visual Studio and VB a bit but was wondering if I am heading in the right direction? Or if I completely missunderstood!
I use VBA functions to extensively automate queries in Access. Nothing too complicated really but I would now like do the same thing in VB/Visual studio.
Is this possible? Is it easy to do? I think there are really two questions:
1: Is it possible to link to an Access database and execute Access queries from within VB/Visual studio?
2: Is it possible to write queries (using a query builder?) in VB/VS that will make tables/update data in an Access database?
I think I am really trying to do all the automation programming/queries in VB/VS - but don't know if I can or can't do it.
any advice would be most welcome!
Thanks for your help!
