Hi. I have major problem I have been avoiding just because it's not a problem for me, but because I will be leaving my position soon, I need to know if it's possible at all for me to delete the User-Level-Security that is bounded to my database at all?
When I started this a couple years ago I used Access' User-Level-Security Wizard to create logins for the database and now I'd like to remove it and just have ONE password for the whole database. I know I can copy and paste things onto a new Access database, but then I'd have to transfer data, and that is just a big whole mess itself.
ALSO, I don't know how this happened, but when I bounded security onto my database, I had it happen where the database ONLY OPENS with a shortcut??? I have no idea how I did this, but it happened. For my database, I would need the Database icon, the Database shortcut icon, and the securityDatabase icon. If any of these icons were missing, I would not be able to open it up at all.
HELP PLEASE ANYONE?? I don't want this database to be a waste after I leave. Another person WILL still be using it.
