Hi there
I'm running Access 2000 on Win ME. Until about an hour ago everything in life was wonderful (okay so that's a bit fanciful too), but now when I open my be_db the AutoExec macro which loads frmSplash kills Access.
I get an exclamation message: "
Msaccess has caused an error in VBE6.DLL.
Msaccess will now close.
If you continue to experience problems,
try restarting your computer.
"
Two buttons on the form "Close" and "Debug", Close just closes access completely, debug fires up C++ (also installed) but reports an unhandled exception in MSACCESS.EXE - which I'm not going near as you might imagine!
To add insult to injury the fe_db opens fine, links to the be_db properly and can still execute queries...
As being keel-hauled on an office building the size of an aircraft carrier is an option I'd rather avoid I wonder if anyone has a solution/suggestion to this tale of woe...
many thanks in advance!
