What is the table Msysaccessobjects?
how did it get there?
how can I get rid of it so I do not get an error message when I close the DB "table 'tempmsysaccessobjects' already exists"?

Appriciate any help

I wouldn't get rid of it if I were you...it's a required Access system table. You ordinarily don't see the hidden system tables in Access. Any table that begins with "MSys" is probably a system table. Go to the Tools, Options window and uncheck "Show", "System objects" if you don't want to see them.

I don't know what the tempmsysaccessobjects table is though. Perhaps you should compact and repair your databse.

Whatever you do, DON'T try to get rid of any Msys table. Your relationships are in an Msys table. Every database object is defined in an Msys table.

How do you think Access remembers what you have defined? Answer (rhetorically intended, of course): It writes it in one of the Msys tables.

Besides, I don't think you CAN get rid of the Msys tables. They are locked against accidental deletion. Which, in this case, is a GOOD thing. Trust me.
