Hi I have a database with a client and it seems that there was some power issue resulting in corruption within the database. The database now has the message Msysdb is missing. The database will not open so cannot get to the repair tool and I cannot import the tables etc into a new database.

From what I see on line it looks as though it is not fixable. We might just be wasting our time but does anyone have any ideas.

I do have a backup but it is some weeks old and obviously data is missing.

Thanks

I too got this same problem before. I could not fix it.
you must backup daily, (or more so if needed)

Thanks yes agree re backups - customer didn't do as told.

I have run it through thestelllar software and it seems to be throwing up the data in one of the important tables but doesn't show some others but for one database it is a bit too expensive.
