When opening an MDE file I get an error message that says "The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object "MsysDb". Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Thanks!

I guess the mde is corrupted. Try compact it and see if it helps.

Have your tried the free Microsoft Jet Compact utility? Search the Microsoft Knowledgebase for Jet Compact to find the version for your version of Access. I have had a lot of success using Jet Compact to repair a db when I thought it was corrupted and Access could not repair itself.
