Is it possible to set up a situation that say (depending on time of day,0900-1200 or 1200-1500,etc,)that a different splash screen will be displayed on opening of the Db.

This will do it...
Code:
    If Time > "09:00" And Time < "12:00" Then
        DoCmd.OpenForm "Form1", acNormal
    ElseIf Time > "12:01" And Time < "15:00" Then
        DoCmd.OpenForm "Form2", acNormal
    ElseIf Time > "15:01" And Time < "18:00" Then
        DoCmd.OpenForm "Form3", acNormal
    Else
        DoCmd.OpenForm "Form4", acNormal
    End If

I raised this a while back and the solution works fine
However I would like to look at another option.
Instead of multiple splash pages,(one for each time/picture), is it possible to have just the picture (Within the splash page) change
The picture is just centred within the splash as a .jpg

ghundson,

If you see this reply would you have a look at my attached db and tell me what I have done wrong. I saw you reply and though I would have play with your code.

If you open the db , click the button "My PC Time Setting" you will see that I have my PC set for "12 Hours AM/PM" . If I set my PC time to say 3:15 AM and click the button Time 12 Hours Format it will not pick up the correct time range - shows Between 3:01 PM - 6:00 PM. Instead of Between 06:01 PM & 08:59 AM. It does not work correctly for 12:01 PM - 3:00 PM. Also the 24 hours clock version also gives me problems.

This is not urgent, I just wonder what is wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

ghudson,

sorry to bother you, can't believe what I did, fixed the probem works fine now. I had used " instead of #

The attached now works for both 12 and 24 hour.

captnk,

Have a look at the attached sample open the form frmShowJPG, others my be able to show you a better way, but this works fine. What I would do is put the code that is now behind the button "ShowJPG" into the on load event of your splash form. Read my note about removing items.

Tks
I will have a play around with that
My Pc is also set to show am or pm time, however so far I havent seen any problem with it
I had changed the previously suggested time code to:
If Time > #9:00:00 AM# And Time < #11:59:00 AM# Then ........

Currently I am running the code from a module.
