Why this doesnt this work?

PHP:
Dim db As DAO.Database
Dim rst As DAO.Recordset

Set db = CurrentDb
Set rst = db.OpenRecordset("tblUserTime", dbOpenDynaset)

    With rst
        .MoveLast
        .Edit
        ![LogOff] = Now()
        .Update
    End With

Without knowing the error message, I can only attempt to divine the answer... Thinking... Mmm....

All right, then, try this: In the VBA Editor, click Tools from the menu.

Click References.

Scroll down and select the checkbox for Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library or, if that's not offered as a choice, Microsoft DAO 3.51 Object Library.

Click OK to close the References dialog and see if that code works.

Tim

Without an error message, how is it that you know it doesn't work?

Are you really sure that it didn't update your table?
It will only go to the last record and set [Logoff!] to Now().

It will only affect that one record, and there is no way of
knowing what that record will be.

Look at your table and sort the date field Descending and
I think you'll find your record at the top.
