Dear all,
im having a slight problem here, im missing my View and Tools menu..(im using Microsoft Access 2000 on Windows XP btw)

By default the menu would be
File, Edit, View, Insert, Tools, Window, Help

but mine now is
File, Edit, Insert, Records, Window, Help

the thing is, i wanted to run my form without the user having to open the application as well, so ive unchecked a few options in Tools>Options or was it Tools>Customize. But when i open the form again, the Tools and View menu isnt there anymore. My question would be, how do i get back to the default state...cause i cant even modify anything here. is there a way i can get back to its previous state, or i would just have to do everything all over again....please help..

thanks and best regards, firere

Should be able to add it.

Otherwise its easy..just open a new db file and import all of your tables / forms / queries / modules into the new db.

You should be able to reset your toolbar/menubar. Right click on any toolbar/menubar, select the Customize... option, select the toolbar/menubar in question, click the Reset... button to restore it.

sorry to bring up an old thread, but I'm missing that whole bar! The one with:

File, Edit, View, Insert, Tools, Window, Help

Even when I create a new DB now, it just doesn't appear. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
