Navigation Selector and Sequence

In the attachment below, how to disable the "create new record" navigation selector only and to make auto sequence number for the field under the subform ?

You can disable the New Record button on your Main Form by setting it's Allow Additions property to No (you'll find that on the Data tab in design view).
