Need help...

As you can see ( if you download my db that is ... ), my database is wrong or something ... Heres what i wanted to do

I want to get the " Cost " and " Toy name " and " Contact " to appear on my orders table by inputting the ToyID and CustomerID

I am a totally clueless what to do ... so any comments / help is much appreciated

Firstly you need to build relationships between your tables. You shouldn't store the contact info in two places so read up on normalisation. There is plenty of info on this site about that to keep you going.

Here are some hints for getting started:
1. Make "ToyID" a PK in the Toy table.
2. Create a new table called something like "OrderLineItems" with an artificial PK, OrderID, ToyID, Qty, etc.
3. Remove ToyID and Cost from Orders.
4. Create relationships between the tables as appropriate.

Then you're a little less than 1% done (with the orders portion). I assume you'll need to track various costs, invoices, statements, that type of stuff. Also customers, addresses, and contacts over time. Lots of opportunity for M:M and 1:M:M relationships. There is much to do to make a simple system like this work.
