It works for me. I've tidied up a bit of your code.

What version of Access are you running?

Access 2003 is what we use. Will you send that back so I can try it again?
will the >* button (not on navigation) get you to the account # field?

It works with that button too but I've created a new one which is just below that one so see which one works for you. By the way, don't discard your version yet until you have tested everything both at home and at work.
