Hey all,

OK well I am from Australia and I live in a mining town in the Far North Western part of Queensland called Mt Isa. I work underground in a copper mine. I have an IT background (more hardware) and i am trying to learn how to make an access database for work, as I know it will make the sharing and capture of information between crews alot easier and more efficient.

I have created a database with access 2010 and i was wondering if some one could have a look over it and see if i am heading in the right direction & offer me some advice as to what i should be looking into in regards to maybe needing scripting. Not to sure what i need but i know what i want to accomplish.

This database is my first attempt at a database, and it is the smaller one of the 2 i have to attempt. I would pay for help if i could get it.

Any ways i hope to hear from you soon.

Welcome from a fellow Aussie.

I have worked on mines in Central Queensland, based in Emerald.

If you need something looking at please post in the appropiate Forum.

Like Tables if you want to discuss your structure and design.

Hey Rain,

Yeah was after a chat with some one that had an idea, so see if what i am after is possible and how complicated my idea is gonna be. Would i be able to possible chat with you or talk . Or could i send you my attempt at a db lol ?

Kade

I will help if I can. But your best bet is to ask in the appropiate Forum. That way many others will see your post. I am not always available so it is best that others can see your question and also help.

If you want me to have a look at it then send me a PM (Private Message) with a link after you have posted your question.

Another thing happens when you post in Public you place your question out there so that others may also learn

Look forward to hearing from you.
