New to cristal report

Hi there
I need to use Cristal report in my work but I have no idea how it works.
I would like to know if it can retrieve the information direct from the SQL database or if it needs an application built as example in vb6 or vb.net?

Yes you can.

Create a datasource that points to your SQL Database.

When opening crystal it should ask you to choose which datasource you want to use, and hey presto. You should see all tables and views.
