Hi,

I have an 2010 MS Access application on a sever.
I created a new Quick Access Menu bar (with just the items that the users wanted). I imported it into the application; and it works great for me. However, when someone else logs into the server, they do not see the new toll bar (menu).
How can I make it so that everyone sees it as I do?
Does something have to be done with profiles on the server?

Thank you

Hi

I can't answer your question about server profiles

However, you can export the quick access toolbar (QAT) by clicking the small arrow at the right of the QAT, selecting More Commands then Import/Export

In Access 2007, the file created is a .qat file
In 2010, its an exported user interface file (.exportedUI)

On the new computer do the same to import the file

Attached is one I created in Access 2010 which you can open in Notepad

NOTE: I've added .txt to the end so I could upload it to this site.
If for some reason you want to use this file, remove the .txt before importing in Access
