I'm sure I'm overlooking something *very* simple... but I need to make a "Bill To:" field in an invoice...this will also be the address that sticks out the clear window of the envelope when mailed... however, I can't find any documentation anywhere describing how to put line breaks in the thing!

Here's the expression:

=[contactname] & [address_street] & [address_street2] & [address_city] & ", " & [address_state] & " " & [address_zip]

I have tried simply breaking the expression in the Expression Editor by pressing Enter between the fields... this goes away when Access stores the thing.

Now on my report it looks like:

Company Name, Inc 123 Fake Street Anytown, ST 12345

Instead of:

Company Name, Inc.
123 Fake Street
Anytown, ST 12345

How is it that I can build an entire database with forms and reports in two days, but little things like this take hours and hours to dig up?

Thanks,
-Mark

Thank you!

I'd forgotten that you could do that... it's a shame there's no more of an elegant solution... i mean, this *is* Microsoft

Actually, I spoke too soon...this does not work. In a text box using Arial, it just places little hollow boxes where the line break is supposed to be...
