Hi,

I noticed I'm not able to save design changes to certain forms in my database, other forms do not have that problem.

What could be the cause of this?

Thanks in advance.

Are you pointing to the North and balanced on one leg when you press save?
If not the Access gnomes can get a bit funny.
.
.
In seriousness, I'm afraid without some more concrete examples we aren't going to be able to help.
Do you have another Modal form open at the time?
Is there a code error break somewhere at the time?
Do you have a form open with a timer running somewhere?

Maybe you have a corruption of some sort.

Copy the database first. It might be worth rebuilding the bad forms. Alternatively, import everything into a new dbs. You need to take a copy, and take your time, as the bad forms might become completely unusable.

No nothing fancy, I just wanted to hide a certain field. No code change . Also not a modal window. No timers. It is in the design , data is okay.

Running the file and forms everything is alright. Just wanted to hide a field.

If the database is an .mde or .accde, you CANNOT save design changes.

If you are the programmer, open the .mdb or .accdb, open the form in design view, make the change, and save it.
