hi guys
again a simple problem but it has me stumped (been doing GIS for some months now - perhaps some cobwebs in the head). i have to make my applications simple as the people who use them are not very IT.
i have a hyperlink field. on a form this field is a combo box. the problem is from the drop down combo list i have to choose the link, populate the combo box and then click it again to open the link. this will confuse the people i work with (yes - i know). can i make it so that when i choose the hyperlink from the drop down list it will autoamtcailly open up the hyperlink address. in essence activate the hyperlink with one mouse click not two?

thanks

Perhaps something like Shell in the afterupdate of the combo box:
Code:
Shell "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe " & combobox.column(x)

An alternative (on After Update event as well):
Code:
If Len([COLOR=Red]Me.ComboboxName[/COLOR] & vbNullString) <> 0 Then
    Application.FollowHyperlink [COLOR=Red]Me.ComboboxName[/COLOR]
End If
