One more usage question

I have user level question for Access 97. My database contains information about a specific item, and also the Vendor information for the supplier. In quite a few instances, my user would like to be able to add new parts to the database, but keep the same Vendor. How can he copy the Vendor information and transfer it to the new records below?

I know about CTRL (Quote), but this only copies one field of one record at a time. This is simply a time saving step, but any help would be appreciated.
