Can seem to find exactly what I'm looking for here on a search so.........
I am trying to use the same query for two different reports. A little explanation.... I have 2 forms that open 2 different reports. But in these reports are subreports. In the form is a field called "BidID" So the subreports display information depending on the "BidID" on the open form. So in one reports subreport the criteria is .... [Forms]![FormNumber1]![BidID]
So on the second form, opening the second report, the criteria has to be [Forms]![FormNumber2]![BidID]
So, question is.... How do run the criteria using whatever form is open instead of "FormNumber1" or "FromNumber2"
Hope that makes sense!! :)
Thanks
Curtis

Is this that same report?

Maybe....maybe not :p
I thought this would be an easy one...... But no replies???????

The "OpenReport" method will open reports with whatever filter you require (just search in the Access help for the syntax).

A little polish on your english may help you in getting replies; what you describe isn't exactly clear. Remember people here are dedicating their time and expertise for nothing. Personally I don't spend much time over questions not presented well; its more likely that those people are going to be a lot of effort to help.

But you do spend time on condescending comments on forum etiquette...

^ "Polished English"????????? Where I come from we call that the "Pot calling the kettle black"

Take my posts however you like. I don't criticise the people who help me. I shan't bother to help you again.
