Open a form to a specific record from a subform (1 Viewer)

I'm new to access and VBA so please bare with me. I have a navigation form and on one of the tabs is a form with a subform on it. The subform shows a single record at one time, not a datasheet form. I am trying to open the form and subform to a specific record in the subform from another form embedded in the navigation form. My apologies if am not explaining this correctly. I have been trying to use the BrowseTo command but am having difficulty in getting it to reference the key field in the subform.

This is going to be a problem on a navigation form. Unlike a tabbed form which you build yourself, the navigation form has only a SINGLE subform control. That means that one subform cannot control another subform because both cannot be loaded at the same time. Whatever you are doing is going to have to be controlled by the main form.
