How can I have a form opened automatically when the Access database is opened?

The easiest, is to go up to Tools / Startup and select the form from the Display Form/Page combo box.

You may want to uncheck the Display Database Window button so it hides that also.

word.

one more question:
unfortunately, i had my database display a form that doesn't allow a right-click menu (to access the design view) and it doesn't allow selection of any other part of the window until it's done...
and i also unchecked the display database window button so when the form is closed, the database is closed.
that means i can't check the display database box in the display form/page menu!
that means i can't edit my database anymore!
help!

From your open form hit F11 to get your database window back.

Right click on the form's caption to get the design mode icon to click on.

F11 did work, but not by itself.
I had to hold F11 down while clicking either the X (close window symbol) on the window itself or while clicking my "Quit" command button.
Thanks.

;)

i suggest you maybe looking into the switchboard form. You'll like it.
