Hi all,
I have a database which has sensitive information therefore the best is that after the icon to open it has been click the database opens directly in a form without to show the tables, reports, etc, i know this should be basic for averybody but for me is being a wall! does somebody know how i can do this?, by the way i am using Access 2007

Go to File/Access Options and on the Current Database tab, uncheck the option to show the navigation pane. You will also need to specify on this tab, the name of the form you want to open when the database opens.
Once the users don't see the nav pane, you'll need to provide menu forms to guide them through the application and make things happen.
Simply hiding the navigation pane doesn't provide any security since eventually the users figure out that if they hold the shift key while opening the database, it opens without running your autoexec macro or opening the startup form and the nav pane is now accessable. So, if you need to lock down the database a little, that is a different problem.

Tanks a million Pat,
You're right what i need is to lock down the database how i can do that?

Start by searching this site. I don't have any links handy but many people have written on the subject. You might also find a FAQ.

Thanks Pat,
I will follow your first advise i'll keep looking for how to lock the database,
Thanks a lot
Regards Jose
