opening a report by clicking a field on the first report

I have a report based on a query and the report has a field called EXT_NUM in the details section of the report, for the different telephone extension number information.

When the report is opened, is there any way that I could could click on a certain telephone number on the report and have it to open another report based on a different query, filtered on that extension number that was clicked on?

Effectively I would like to know if you could have clickable field on the report which would do other things like (in my case) open another report.

I was fiddling around with the hyperlink stuff and I managed to display the EXT_NUM field on the report as a hyperlink but I dont know how to go about further than this. Would appreciate help an insight into the matter.

Reports are not user interactive, use forms instead
