Option Group Label

I have an option group, with of course the button where you select and beside that is the label name.

On click this runs a query but my boss only wants it to run when you hit the actual select button and not the label name.

how can I disable the label name or unreferenced this to the option.

When you click in design mode on the button, you see the area belonging to this button. The whole area is sensitive for selection and probably covers also your tekst.
Make this area smaller to only the button, this will do the job I guess

Tell your boss it is impossible (which it really isn't but for the sake of this discussion...) and move on to something much more productive than expending effort on disabling existing facilities and implementing your very own and extremely peculiar convention for how screen elements should work.

Do not argue - just say you asked for advice and got the above. Show it to your boss if needed.

Thank you guys for the info. I actually didn't find anything on the web so I decided to try this.
