PDF file as background to a report.

Hello,

Is it possible to have a PDF file as background to a report?

I tried to convert it to an image file but the resolution it's pretty bad.

Any ideas?

I'm only answering this question because it seems interesting.

You tried to convert the contents of the object into a PDF file?

I have a lot of wild ideas about this...maybe copy all of the contents into an image control from the toolbox? Put an image control in and source it to the PDF file.

I wonder though if you could do something like this in a form first, and then save that object as a report. Maybe you could insert the image control into the form, source the PDF, then put a subform on top of that the way you want the report to look. Then save that as an actual report?

First of all thank you for your answer!
I'm not sure i undestood what's your suggestion.

My problem is that I have a flowchart designed in Smartdraw and i want to have this flowchart as report where the values will change according to record source.
First i tried to export the flowchart as an image and import it to the report. The problem is that when i print the report the resolution of the image is bad (blur).
So i thought of having a pdf file as background.... but i don't know how.

I can't really tell you anything here sir. I'm just throwing you some ideas. I thought your post was WAY out of the ordinary anyway.

I might be able to tell you something else about this if I saw some pictures or files or something, but other than that, I don't know what to tell you. This is probably an unusual request. I know I've never done anything like it (never had to)...
