percentage feild

why is it when i create a percentage feild
the numbers viewed on the table are 100times?

ie. if i typed in 2 in a form.. i will get 200% in the table. but when i search for it in a form it will give be the right about which was 2

??

2 as a percent is 200.

.02 is 2 percent.

Divide your result by 100.
