Hi all:
My company recently upgraded to Office 2013, which has ostensibly made all of our Access databases currently unusable since we used the pivot chart feature in all aspects of our operations. I've been charged with the task of fixing this dilemma, particularly before our quality audit at the end of this month. My ideal fix would be to embed excel documents with charts into the database as objects and switch between them with a pull down.
However, whenever you open the objects in the form, you are only allowed to edit one filter in the pivot charts and then the chart freezes. To filter again, you have to close the editable chart and reopen, then allowing one more edit before it freezes. We generally use pivot charts to look at data in various ways and pinpoint what data pertains to the current discussion.
Is there a way to have a pivot chart embedded that can be filtered freely?
Thank you for any help you can give
