I thought this would be simple, but it has turned out to be quite frustrating.
I am currently making a football (US) statistics database. I have a form where I input all of the offensive information. This form automatically updates the down, distance, yardline, series and playnumber based on yards gained or if there is a penalty.
I wanted to create a popup form using a command button when there was a penalty. I created the popup with two combo boxes (offense and defense penalty names) and a text box to input the penalty yardage.
I want to be able to use the penalty yardage to update the down and distance. I cannot seem to "link" or connect the information in the popup to the offense information form. Plus, if there are 10 plays without a penalty, the form that has the offense infomation will be on entry 10 and the penalty popup will be on the 1st entry!
Any advice on how to get the popup form to keep up with the offense form and then add the appropriate information?
