Print current record BEFORE saving?

I have a form where users will enter patient information, including the account number. I have a command button on the bottom to print labels (really just a report I set up). But if I try to print the current record after the account number (autonumber) is assigned, it has headings only on the report and no data. More than likely because it's before the record has been saved.

Can someone point me in the right direction to go so that they can click a button and print the report with the current record information? I know VERY little code and haven't had success with using macros.

Thanks much.

I found this bit of code when searching
DoCmd.OpenReport "ReportNameHere", , ,"[ID] = " & Me![ID]

But that won't help me if I need to save the record first, correct?

In searching on this subject there has to be roughly a billion questions on this same problem. I APOLOGIZE!! I bet you're all smacking your foreheads as you see the title to these posts. None were exactly the same thing I was trying to do and I couldn't quite figure it out. But it's working beautifully now, and I thank you very much.

I agree with the many users who have said this should be a sticky. I'll definitely be printing this out for my own personal use in the future.
