I am tring to create a user form which will allow people to report any problems on the computers, location, date, time, problem etc now what I would like to know is, is there any way that at a set time in the day I.E 4 pm it will print all the records for the day in a report format if poss. then close the database again

There's a couple af ways I can think of.

1. keeping a database open and using the on_timer event of a form, when the time reaches 16:00 then either run the report or open the database that runs the report on startup.

2. Use windows task scheduler to open the database for you and have the autoexec macro (or startup form) open the report then close down.

If the Db is networked, this means running this as a process on the server and this may not be possible.

Open the attached with the windows task scheduler, it should give you some ideas.

IMO
