I need some basic guidance and help. In my mind the task is elemetary but I just cannot get it to work in my report. I'm on Access 2003 in Win XP.
I am trying to produce entrance tickets for our local festival. The performers may be in more than one event. The events cover a wide range from solo, duet, trio, quartet - through a further range of various sized groups. Within the data record held for each event is a field containing the ‘number of tickets required’. eg solo = 1 choir = 20 etc. Identifying each event and using this field I can select all the performers in the events requiring the same number of tickets and using the querie as the source for the report, print the tickets. I can print one set of tickets but what I want to do is print 5 or 10, or 20 copies of the same data. I just can’t find a way. I think the report sorting and grouping area is causing the problem. I have to sort by name and because the tickets carry the individual performer’s or group name. When I try to produce 20 separate copies the system dumps them all in the Detail Section for that name.
