I installed the Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 6 Library, and it seems to be the right one.
I do however have a problem with the dates, it is not selecting a date. I think it has to do with formatting.
Attach is a sample of my database.

Try: "CheckDate=#" & SelectedDate & "#"

Date is stored as mm/dd/yyyy but you have it display as dd/mm/yyyy in table. Advise not to set this in table. Filter is by mm/dd/yyyy which is Access default. The filter with suggested edit is working for me.

Where are you located - U.S. or outside U.S.?

Ok, I see what you mean. I'm in Australia, and our format is dd/mm/yyyy.
Can you tell me how to handle the different format?

It's not an issue I have to deal with so will just refer you to one of your fellow countrymen for guidance http://allenbrowne.com/ser-36.html
It's a common topic so if you search on "Access query international date" should see many discussions.
