Hi im a newbie with an odd printing problem.

I have written an invoice printing application that prints perfectly on my colour printer. When I try same on my Son's printer it comes out too light or perhaps in a draft format.

On his printer (Black and White only), if I print a word document, excel spreadsheet or earlier version of my access program, it prints out nice and dark. (Except for the coloured fields naturally).

However in the latest version of my ACCESS program the output comes out light. Looking at the printer it definitely seems to be printing much slower on each line in either Excel or Word or the earlier Access version hence the thought that it is printing in draft mode.

I have checked print driver etc and can't find anything, so I am wondering is there a default setup in ACCESS that I may have invertantly set that causes a document to print in a draft mode?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Check you son's printer's properties, I'll be that its set to print in the draft mode.

Thanks llkhoutx,

I'll try and review same when I go down to my Son's this afternoon. However if it is as you suggest set to Draft mode, why do Excel and Word documents print in normal print mode, as does an earlier version of my ACCESS program?

Cheers,

Dylan
