I am trying to export a query to .txt file.

I have a macro which performs this export, however one of my fields contains values which in some cases have more than 2 decimal places.

When I examine the .txt file it appears Access has rounded these values to 2 decimal places during export. It is essential I have all the decimals.

If anyone can help me solve this it will be much appreciated.

Cheers.

Usually I have the other problem, access changes 2 to 7 decimal places. I would check your table format on that column and datatype just in case.

I agree with FoFa - make sure your number is either single or douple format in your table(7 or 15 decimals) and that you haven't specified any decimal format or currency format in your query.

At least as far as I have seen, the default decimal places for output in anything other than a table is always set to 2. So it seems to me that you are hitting a default. Check your output fields for default values and default formats.
