[RESOLVED] Problem With ConvertingCurrencyToEnglish

Greetings:

Access 2000
Windows XP Pro

I have a problem with the following module; “ConvertCurrencyToEnglish”. Its function is to convert the number in a textbox named “TOTAL LICENSE FEE” to English on a form.

The function is carried out by inserting =ConvertCurrencyToEnglish([TOTAL LICENSE FEE]) in a 3rd textbox named “ConvertCurrencyToEnglish” ( same as module) in the Control Source property.

The module works fine unless the actual value is a number like $154.9994, it does not round the number up in English.

The textbox from which it gets is numeric value to convert “TOTAL LICENSE FEE” does convert the value to $155.00.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Resolution:

'-- Round the input to two decimal places
Dim curVal As Currency
curVal = Round(CCur(MyNumber), 2)
'-- ...and insert the string back in the input value
MyNumber = CStr(curVal)

' Convert MyNumber to a string, trimming extra spaces
MyNumber = Trim(str(MyNumber))

Thank you RuralGuy

Mickey

Add the RED code above the existing GREEN code.
Code:
[COLOR="Red"]'-- Round the input to two decimal places
Dim curVal As Currency
curVal = Round(CCur(MyNumber), 2)
'-- ...and insert the string back in the input value
MyNumber = CStr(curVal)[/COLOR]

[COLOR="DarkGreen"]' Convert MyNumber to a string, trimming extra spaces
MyNumber = Trim(str(MyNumber))[/COLOR]
