Am not giving up but am very disheartened.
Anyway I am using the code in a module which you gave me and according to the message box it is working fine.
But then... a warning box appears saying the following:
The OpenForm action was cancelled
You used a method of the DoCmd object to carry out an action in visual basic, but then clicked cancel in a dialog box. For example, you used the close method to close a changed form, then clicked cancel in the dialog box that asks you if you want to save the changes you made to the form.
I have not! What is it talking about?
Am going to lie down for a while.
