Progress status for Record Completetion...

hi everyone,

just wondering if it was possible to have a box that returns the % completion of the current record depending on how much data/how many of the fields of the record have been filled out.

e.g. fields with containing data / total number of fields * 100

possible or not? if so...how is it done?

Here is an example I put together quickly for you. Look at form Table1 and let me know if this is kinda what you wanted

yes, more or less, that what i was after. which bits need to be edited in the module for it to work with mine?

A few things....

in function FilledIN the variable lngTotFields needs to equal the total number of fields on your form


Then you need to change the Form name to your form name and like wise with the fields.
