Putting Chinese into a message box

OK so I am stretching the "Messagebox is a form innit???" thing to get this post into the forms forum

does anyone know how to get a messagebox to show chinese?

I've been trying a few methods but I am getting an awful lot of "????:??.??"s

I have reverted to pulling strings from tables into a messageboxy looking form, it's not ideal though.

All ideas welcome

I read and input chinese on Windows XP, installed as English but with Chinese as an additional input language (using ms pinyin ime 3.0). Whenever installing software desgined for chinese market or by chinese developers many of the menu boxes won't display in chinese, even though the application will receive and display correctly in its core components. My guess is you may need to be running a chinese version of windows. Hope this helps
